ALROSA’s RAS net profit shrinks 42% to 42.24 bln rbl in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian diamond giant ALROSA plummeted by 42% on the year to 42.239 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Tuesday.

Revenue decreased 34.7% to 119.76 billion rubles. Gross profit plunged by about 50% to 51.417 billion rubles.

Selling expenses fell 12.9% to 1.349 billion rubles, while administrative costs jumped 52.5% to 9.208 billion rubles.
